Bio

Starting out in newspaper photojournalism has given me a firm foundation for doing location photography, but I'm just as comfortable in the studio. I love watching the subject when the camera is not pointed at them, behaving and acting naturally, giving me clues as to what will make them look their best. Things that happen out of the blue, things you don't expect are almost without exception, the most fun and inspiring. After finding that one frame, I strive to complete the feeling of the photo, looking more for the feeling rather than what is literally in front of the camera. I've been shooting professionally since 19mumblemumble (a long time), and am having as much fun as I ever have.
