Tamara Reynolds' real people portraits
Posted by Juliette Wolf-Robin in Artists , Editorial & Awards
FOUND photographer Tamara Reynolds’ work was recently selected by The Ambiance Group, an art services company, for display at the corporate headquarters of The Hospital Corporation of America (HCA Inc.), in Nashville, Tennessee. Ms. Reynolds’ photography was selected because of the unique composition and evocative feel of her portraits. The work, consisting of 23 images, will be on permanent display.
Cramer-Krasselt recently commissioned Tamara to shoot 5 testimonial portraits of real people to illustrate their newest ad campaign. Working with creative director Dean Stefanides, Reynolds goal was to shoot the ads on location in and around Direct General’s Nashville corporate headquarters.
“Tamara not only had the production organized like clockwork,” says Stefanides, “but got our real employee ‘models’ to come to life in front of the camera, as if they were real talent. I knew from the first shot that I could just sit back and relax, something I hardly ever do on a shoot. I was hoping for 5 good shots and we ended up with 9 great shots.”
In addition to her work with The Ambiance Group and Cramer-Krasselt, Tamara Reynolds received 9 Honorable Mentions in the 2009 IPA International Photography Awards.
