FOUND photographer Chris Crisman shot a series of portraits for a cover story on the Philadelphia Phillies for this month’s issue of Philadelphia Magazine. “I think this was one of the larger picture packages I’ve ever done coming in at 4 covers and 9 pages inside for just one month,” Crisman tells FoundFolios. “For the covers, we had about 5 minutes with each player, and then about the same for the group shots. We shot the background plates (locker room) in a 150 year-old boathouse along Boathouse Row in Philadelphia. We then shot all the players in Clearwater, FL on green screen. We had no idea which player was going to show up when, and only had one 14’ x 30’ room to make everything happen. We shipped the bench you see in the photos from Philly to Clearwater in order to keep as much cohesion as possible.
